Our Goals

The goal of our interiors team is to turn the clients thoughts, wants and needs into a more tangible, visual design, making sure there is no stone left unturned and the coherence of a renovation project is achieved throughout all stages of works. We also ensure larger scale projects have a full schedule to give a clear idea of timeframes from the outset and our in-house team can provide a full interior sourcing service.

Onsite, we have a strong, full time team of  three artisans, all with complementary skills, from carpentry and joinery to roofing, masonry, insulation and plaster boarding. In our opinion attention to detail is key, particularly in the final interior stages, and for this reason we have a strong network of sub-contractors such as plasterers, tilers and decorators as well as qualified and fully insured electricians and plumbers. We have built up this trusted external team over many years to ensure that the standards and quality of work Maison Bretagne is known for is consistently achieved. You don’t just have to take our work for it, check out our News page to read all about the regular sub-contractors we use.

The Maison Bretagne office

Our in-house team is based in the medieval town of Dinan. Having lived and worked in this region for over 10 years we have established a solid client portfolio and strong ties to local suppliers and sub-contractors. This feet on the ground knowledge is invaluable and enables us to plan and carry out projects efficiently; and these local links, together with our qualified and bilingual team, form the core strengths of our renovations business. Our team, in turn passes this local knowledge and confidence onto our clients to create a trusting and professional working relationship.

Just as importantly, Maison Bretagne, has built relationships with the local authorities, such as Dinan Agglomeration and the various Mairies in the area, as well as the general governing body of the ‘Batiment de France’. Our in-house planning department is aware of the specific demands concerning the protocols expected when making planning applications and this means that they are usually accepted in the quickest time. Check our Design page to find out more about the services we offer, or our News page to read about the process entailed in applying for a planning.
