The Brief of renovating a gîte at a Château holiday complex
Maison Bretagne was tasked with the complete interior renovation of an existing gîte already being rented as a holiday destination at a Château in Normandy . The interior of the gîte was dated inside and had been dropping in bookings due to some poor reviews from holidaymakers finding there was a severe lack of modern facilities, therefore it required a complete update. The kitchen was the heart of the property but had not been touched for several decades, so we set to work redesigning this space first. New electrics and plumbing were also installed.
The overall aim was to add a modern edge to the rural holiday cottage and bring its allure and rentability up to the standard of the beautiful Château whose grounds it stood in.
